Due to the corona lockdown, only "To Go" was possible - we had pre-ordered and picked up Cordon Bleu. Large portion, it was delicious too, everything neatly packaged and at a good price. That's how it should be!

Looking for a warm room on a Monday evening in Ansbach, we stranded after FOUR closed pizzerias in the Gasthaus zum Mohren. The service was very attentive and the food was delicious. We had the liver dumpling soup, the Franconian sausages and the Franconian onion meat. We found it cozy and we liked it. comes on the list of restos that you want to visit again :-)

Getting a table with partner and parents without a reservation ... Friendly service, top schnitzel, delicious roast pork and fantastic, juicy cordon bleu.

It's a shame that the side dish is the cheapest on the market. For a halfway decent slice of bread with the bearded sausages, I would pay a few cents more. Otherwise everything is fine.

The name of the restaurant doesn't work! Should be changed urgently! I called the owner of this and asked why the restaurant has such a racist name. To this his answer: "You keep me from work. I don't have time for something like that now!"

Food was okay, nothing special, but it worked. Conditions were friendly. What I didn't like, however, is that the hygiene concept is not exactly taken into account in Corona times. I thought it would be a matter of course to clean or disinfect the tables after the guests. Unfortunately, I couldn't see that at all during our stay in the beer garden. I also saw no possibility of hand disinfection at the entrance to the beer garden. If the bartender outside behind the counter has his mask under his chin all the time, he can leave it alone. A chin mask is not that decorative.

Very tasty food, we had the shovel. Both the meat (large crust, tender meat) and the dumplings, the sauce and the salad were very tasty. You also sit in the beer garden nice shady under trees. The boss pours out the drinks in peace and quiet (meaning positive) and the waitresses whiz back and forth. Very well organized restaurant. Nice menu with normal prices. If we are here again, we will be very happy to come back.

Great experience. Quick, nice staff, good food, fair price, takes credit card. I tried the burger and was surprised ... very nice presentation, not a standard burger - I liked the pretzle bun and the wedge fries. Can't really compare it to burger meat as it seemed to be a hybrid of German sausage, but it was very tasty. Overall I have zero complaints about the experience.

Home-style cooking in the center of Ansbach. The food is delicious and we were served quickly and friendly. The portions are generous at reasonable prices. Child and senior portions possible. I can definitely recommend it. ?
